Art Work

I show and sell my art in galleries and local venues.  I have received several grants for my work.

I combine different media such as painting, collage, drawing or flowing cursive writing. My favorite materials include sharpies and glitter.

My work surrounds issues of identity, gender, self-awareness, and culture. Our culture creates our identity. I explore symbols.  Circles are cycles, displaying a comfort in containment. My images reference fingerprints, maps, and targets.  

I approach my work playfully, with an open mind, and I let the process guide the concept.
